Art of Photography

Imagine being able to freeze a moment in time and keep it forever. This is what photography does. It is a magical art and technique that uses light to create images on a sensitive material. But how did it all start? It began in 1827, when Joseph Nicéphore Niépce made the first permanent image with a dark box and tin. In 1839, his colleague Louis Jacques Mandé Daguerre presented his procedure to the world, which he called the "daguerreotype". Since then, photography has evolved and spread throughout the world, influencing history, art, science and society in countless ways. Thanks to photography, we can see how people lived in the past, how nature looks in different places or how events unfold in real time. Photography is more than just a way of recording reality. It is a way of seeing and understanding the world.
